Compulsory (Legal) Benefits
Members who complete 10 years of OYAK membership (120 contributions) and whose active membership status ends due to separation from their respective organizations for any reason become eligible for the Retirement Benefit.
For our permanent members who leave the Turkish Armed Forces for various reasons, the membership duration is treated as follows:
Members who have completed 10 years are entitled to a Retirement Benefit.
Members with a membership period between 3 and 10 years are refunded their accumulated contributions without profit share.
Members with less than 3 years of membership are not entitled to any payment
In addition, under Law No. 205 on OYAK, a “Full and Permanent Disability Benefit” or a “Partial Disability Benefit” is provided to our members, while a “Death Benefit” is paid to the legal heirs of deceased members.
